She passed away Saturday, July 27, 2002 at Deaconess Hospital after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by our father Sylvester Griego, Jr., sisters Tina Ramirez, Helen Machato, Evelyn Garcia and Jessie Valdez. She is survived by her son Daniel S. Griego of Oklahoma City, and daughter Patricia Shropshire Aebischer of Oklahoma City. Three grandchildren Daniel S. Griego, Jr. and wife Susie of Rock Island IL. Reginald Dwight Shropshire wife Tina of Wilmington , NC. Jessica Shropshire and Stacey Yarborogh of Noble, Oklahoma. She leaves behind three adored great grandchildren and her current husband Apolinor Hinojosa of Arkansas, sister Grace Flores, Della Guardarma and husband Carlos, Felipe Valdez all of Lubbock, Texas, brother Jacito Valdez of Midland, Texas. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews whom she deeply adored. She also leaves behind a special sister-in-law that she called daily Cruz Maloy and brother in-law Merce Hernandez. Special Thanks to nurses and staff at Deaconess Hospital Dr. Aline Brown, 'her star patient', Dr. Cramner, Nurse Marlene Peters at PCC all on the fifth floor, 3rd floor Telemetry and 3rd floor CCU nurses and doctors. Thank you Dr. Marvin Payton for giving mom a little more time with us. Rosary, 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at Branstetter-Merritt's Rosewood Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M.
