William C., 88, Midwest City, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2003. He was born in Lenapah, OK to Robert and Pauline (Nelson) Hancock on March 11, 1914. He was a member of Howard Memorial Baptist Church, lifetime member of Cowboy Hall of Fame, lifetime member of DAV. William served in the military for 26 years, 14 years at the Postal Service and 13 years at the Cowboy Hall of Fame in security. William is survived by his wife, Ella Mae, whom he married on Dec. 28, 1946 in Okmulgee, OK; sister, Helen Raines of Lindsey, OK; son, Robert J.; son-in-law, Mike Moore; son, William L. Hancock and wife, Lisa; daughter, Paula Dowling and husband, David; 5 grandsons and 3 granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews. His daughter, Nita J. Moore, preceded him in death. Services are 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at Howard Memorial Baptist Church with burial in Arlington Memory Gardens.
