All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Resthaven Memory Gardens--OKC OK Henson Sr., Donald Ray Donald Ray Henson Sr. (Preacher Don) was born on July 12, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Charles Ray and Beatrice Henson. Don walked into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, August 17, 2005. Don retired from Wilson Foods after 22 years however his favorite job was being BIG PAPA. Don was man filled with love for his family. His eyes would shine at the very mention of his family. He fought hard, worked hard, and loved even harder. When he wasn't working on his motorcycle, lawnmower or car he loved to ride his Harley Davidson, fish and be with his family. His family was his life and he told you so ever time you talked to him. The best job he ever had was being a husband, father, and most of all BIG PAPA. He loved to be BIG PAPA. He would always asked his grandbabies 'Where's my angels?' Well, you're our angel now - PAPA. Don will always be remembered in the hearts of his wife, Sharon Henson; eight children, Donald Ray Jr., Katrina, Falisiti, Aaron, Daya, Ambur, Heath and Daniel; 20 grandchildren; sisters, Karen, Earlene, Vicki; brother, Charles Keith and many other family and friends. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ray and Beatrice Henson; sister, Darlene Edrington; grandson, Donald Ray Henson III; uncle, Calvin Wright; and grand-niece, Rachel Maynard. Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, August 22 at the Primrose Chapel in Norman. Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
