Lynn R., 54, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2003. He was born January 28, 1948 in Tulsa, OK to Clarence L. and Pearl A. (Morgan) Huntley. Lynn was united in marriage to LaDonna Campbell on December 31, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lynn grew up in South OKC, the son of restaurant owner Clarence & Morean Huntley. He graduated from Capitol Hill in 1966 and Oklahoma Christian University in 1975. While attending Capitol Hill he won several state titles for track and was given a full scholarship to OCU. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force as a military police from 1967-1971 and also continued his love for track, running track for the Air Force. After graduation, Lynn taught and coached track in Albion, OK and the OKC area. He worked for Reed Bit & Tool for 15 years before beginning his own business in 1996. He owned and operated L & L Termite & Pest Control, Inc. He attended Capitol Hill Assembly of God and enjoyed golfing, hunting and was an avid sports fan. Lynn is survived by his wife, LaDonna Huntley of the home; two sons, Cory S. Huntley and Jeremy L. Huntley; step-children, Nathan Newman and Meshella Farrell; three grandchildren; his mother, Pearl Huntley; one brother, Jerry D. Huntley; and two sisters, Barbara G. Idleman and Kay Stearman. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence L. Huntley and step-mother, Morean Huntley. Funeral services will begin 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 8, 2003 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
