Carl V., 63, died April 1, 2003, in Oklahoma City. He was born February 12, 1940, in Warren, Ohio, the son of John and Irene Antila Hendrickson. We celebrate the life of Carl who left in the arms of the angels to spend eternity in the arms of Jesus. Carl married the love of his life, Mary Woolf, on April 7, 1963. They were granted 40 happy and glorious years together. Carl spent 4 years in the Air Force and then the next 31 years in the FAA. After retirement, Carl and Mary moved to Edmond to be close to their grandkids. Carl came out of retirement to work for the University of Oklahoma as an instructor for the FAA flight services. Carl was known for his generous heart, his sense of humor and his love of God. He was proud of his family and his heritage. He will be missed dearly by all who loved him. His parents, and a brother, John, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Mary; son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Laura Hendrickson; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Blake Bedwell; 3 grandchildren, Nate, Hayden and Hannah; a host of wonderful family and friends. The family suggests memorials to the Peace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. A Memorial Service will be at 2 P.M., Thurs., April 3, 2003, at the Peace Lutheran Church, 2600 E. Danforth Road, Edmond.
