All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Hamilton, Josephine Louise Josephine Louise Hamilton, age 97, of Arlington, Texas passed away December 31, 2002. She was born March 16, 1905 to John Wesley and Nora Ellen (Shaffer) Arms in Newton, Illinois. She worked the switchboard as a PBX operator at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City for many years until moving to Arlington twenty-five years ago. In Arlington she did volunteer work with the Auxiliary of Arlington Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church while she lived in Oklahoma City. Her primary and most important role was as a loving homemaker to her family. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Dunn-Stancil of Arlington and husband Robert T. Stancil; seven grandchildren, Richard Bernard Hamilton, Jean Ann Hamilton, Thomas Glen Hamilton, John Nelson Hamilton and wife Gloria, Michael Lanier Dunn and wife Sue, Dee Ann Ray, Jeffrey Nelson Dunn and wife Donna; ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Richard Earl Hamilton. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2003 in the Rose Hill Abbey Mausoleum Chapel with interment to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
