Hanner, Helen Marie

Helen Marie Hanner, 74, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was the daughter of
John and Minnie (Soulek) Curran. She was born on April 25, 1928 in
Blackwell, Oklahoma and died at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2003 in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She attended Stillwater High School and enjoyed
sewing and gardening. Helen married Max Henry Johnson on December 31, 1947
in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 2, 1980. On April
21, 1984, she and Floyd Ray Hanner were married in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.
He also preceded her in death on November 28, 1996. She worked as a
computer peripherals inspector for Seagate Corporation in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma until she retired in 1997. She was affiliated with the Church of
Christ and a member of the Elks Lodge in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Funeral
services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2003 in the Brown-
Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Perry, Oklahoma. The Rev. Buddy Hunt will
officiate. Interment will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery located in Perry,
Oklahoma, under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may
be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Helen is survived by two sons, Max
L. Johnson of Wichita, Kansas and David L. Johnson in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma; three daughters, Charmi A. Arguello of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,
Stephanie A. "Toni" Choate of Hennessey, Oklahoma and Carol L. Beecher of
Kingfisher, Oklahoma; one brother, John Curran of Hennessey, Oklahoma;
three sisters, Rose Hamblin of Durant, Oklahoma, Shirley Hodge and Janice
Emmons, both of Perry, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren and 4 great-
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Max
Henry Johnson and Floyd Ray Hanner and her parents, Minnie and John
Curran.
