She was born Nov. 9, 1947 in Byars, OK to Claud and Lois VanSchuyver in the home of grandparents Claud and Essie Hankins. Anita received her GED Dec. 1982 and Associate Degree (Business Management) from Rose State in 1986. She loved to quilt, garden, tomato and okra were her favorites; enjoyed going to craft shows with her daughter, sister and mother; loved to read, never sat still, was early to rise; loved taking photos, scrapbooking and working puzzles. She lived life to the fullest, had no regrets. She was baptized in Del City at Brother Sharp"s Church, Calvary Tabernacle UPC on Nov. 19, 1995. She is survived by 2 children, Jackie Gayle (Roberts) Harrold of Collinsville, OK and Wesley Martin Roberts of Ada, OK; 9 grandchildren, Rachel, Stephanie, Samantha, Jake, Derek, Cody, Ryan, Victoria and Ashton; 3 stepsons, Judson K. Howry, David Shane Howry and Keyth L. Howry, II; 2 brothers, (A.C.) Alvin VanSchuyver of Byars, OK and Ted Mack VanSchuyver of Ketchum, OK; 1 sister, Annetta Johns of Byars, OK; 1 step-sister, Wilma Kaufman, Sayre, OK. She was preceded in death by 1 infant sister, Dianh Sue VanSchuyver. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Vistacare Family Hospice, 4045 N.W. 64th, Okla. City, OK 73116. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, March 28, 2003 at Johnsonville Cemetery, Byars, OK.
