All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Arlington Memory Gardens Cemetery--Spencer OK Harris, Betty June Betty June Harris, 75, beloved wife, mother and Gran, of Midwest City, departed this life to join the heavenly band of Angels on August 16, 2005. Betty was born on October 2, 1929 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She received her undergraduate degree from Southwestern State in 1950 and her Masters degree in counselling from Central State. Betty worked as a teacher and school psychologist for Mid-Del Schools for 36 years. Her greatest passions in life were her friend and partner of 55 years Jim 'Peep' Harris, her daughter, Jimanne, her grandchildren, Kyle and Kacy and her friends. Betty was an angel here on earth and though she will be dearly missed by her family and friends, they know she will always be with them and keeping a watchful eye from heaven. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Midwest City, Shangri-La Rose garden club, the Thursday night bridge club and dinner bridge. She is survived by her husband of the home, Jim Harris, her daughter, Jimanne Harris Mays of Midwest City, her grandson, J. Kyle Mays of LaPorte, Texas, her granddaughter, Kacy L. Mays of Midwest City and her loving friends. There will be a visitation at Barnes and Johnson Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2005 at The First Baptist Church of Midwest City with interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
