W.J., passed away on August 8, 2002 at the age of 90. He was born Oct. 10, 1911 in Hardin, Montana to parents, Charles Franklin and Effie Verdie (Taylor) Hart. Rev. Hart served as a minister for the Southern Baptist Convention. He faithfully pastored in Bodine City, Cox City, Tuttle, Beggs, Hopewell, Maysville, Prague, Henryetta and OKC at Shields Blvd. Baptist Church. W.J. was appointed by the Home Mission Board for resort ministry and church planter. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his wife, Thelma in 1999. He is survived by: sons, W. Travis Hart & wife Janie of Plainview, TX, John H. Hart & wife Margie of Stephenville, TX; daughters, Lyndell Kellogg & husband Kent of Ft. Gibson, Sharon Jackson & husband Jerry of Ft. Gibson; 10 grandchildren: Harrison, Ellen, Johnnie, Tammie, Robert, Michelle, Starla, Linda Jane, Craig, Julie; 16 great grandchildren; and many friends and loved ones including nieces and nephews.
