He became a Christian at an early age and lived as a loving and devoted husband to Melba Loree for 51 years. To this union came his three children whom he adored. He was a shining example to them as a Christian and was equally a proud and devoted Grandpa to his three grandchildren. Don was a talented and dependable Architect for 40 years. In this endeavor he traveled extensively in the United States, Germany and Saudia Arabia. He was a loyal friend to many and will be missed by all. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Lee and Stanley. Also his older brother, Stanley Lee who died in the Belgium Bulge in WWII, and his adopted grandson, Jeremy. His loving survivors include his wife, Melba Loree, daughter, Deborah Kay of Edmond, OK, son, Daniel Lee and wife, Terri of Ovilla, TX, son, Stanley Don and wife, Gwen of Oklahoma City. Also three grandchildren, Tanner Lee and wife, Crystal from Austin, TX, Dana Loree from Ovilla, TX, and Kellen David of Edmond, OK, and his precious cat, 'Keiki'. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2002 in the Red Auditorium of Southern Hills Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
