All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Hanks Sr., Corwin Harris Corwin Harris Hanks, Sr, a long-time friend in good-standing of Bill W., passed away peacefully on November 15, 2004 in Dallas, TX after a vigilant & courageous battle with cancer. After serving in the Army Air Force in WWII, C.H. was an accountant for many years. He amassed a large number of devoted friends by using his well-known sharp wit, corny jokes and ability to motivate & listen to others. Fishing, hunting and traveling with his wife in their RV were his favorite pastimes. He was preceded in death by Sylvia M. Hanks, his precious wife of 56 years and a grandson, Brian Harris Eliasen. He is survived by his loving children Cynthia & Leon Marlow, Marsha Hanks & Candy West, Vicki & Steve Rodgers, Corwin (Corky) H. Hanks, Jr. and Nancy Hanks & Theresa Maxwell; also survived by grandchildren Carissa & Alan Pennington, Darin Eliasen, Sherri Drury and Amanda Swafford & Tobias O'connell and great, grandchildren Lindsey Drury, Tristan and Brayden Pennington and Elijah O'Connell. There will be a memorial service at the Western Club at 5207 N. Western/Oklahoma City, OK on Friday, November 19th at 2:00pm.
