All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Memory Gardens Cemetery--Amarillo TX Roy Harrison Roy Harrison, 80, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, May 19, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Trinity United Methodist Church, 3402 S. Jackson, with Dr. Clifford E. Trotter, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Harrison was born in Lehigh, Okla., and grew up in Oklahoma City where he graduated from Classen High School. During World War II, he served in the Army in the European and Pacific theaters. He moved to Amarillo in 1956. Mr. Harrison was a loan officer for Amarillo National Bank for 26 years, retiring as an assistant vice-president. He was a longtime volunteer with Northwest Texas Hospital Auxiliary. He was a member of the American Legion and Trinity United Methodist Church. He married Winnie Deason in 1939 at Shawnee, Okla. She died in 1991. Survivors include his daughter, Pam Richardson of St. Louis, and a grandson, Rob Richardson of St. Louis. The family suggests memorials be to Trinity United Methodist Church, 3402 S. Jackson, Amarillo, TX 79109.
