Elizabeth Estelle DeRoche was born in San Antonio, Texas July 6, 1911 to Claude Henry DeRoche and Stella Caroline Senn. Elizabeth graduated from Classen High School in Oklahoma City, OK, attended Oklahoma City University, and was a member of the Black Kat Klub. Elizabeth married Henry "Bo" Housh May 29, 1933 in Oklahoma City, OK. Elizabeth was a devoted housewife and mother of one son, H.B. "Bo" Housh II. The family made their home in Oklahoma City, OK. Later Elizabeth and her husband resided in Chicago, IL; Albert Lea, MN; Cedar Rapids, IA; West Covina, CA and retired to Scottsdale, AZ in 1968. Elizabeth was active in the Presbyterian Church, enjoyed playing bridge and was an accomplished quilter. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband, and son, and is survived by three grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 26 at 11 AM at the Healthcare Center at Frienddship Village, 2525 E. Southern Ave., Tempe.
