Alvin "Bill" Leeroy Howell 1928 - 2006

Memorial services for Bill Howell will be Friday December 15, 2006 at 
11:00 a.m. at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel with Pastor William 
Denton, First Christian Church of Lompoc, officiating.

Bill was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma March 14, 1928 to Douglas 
and Fannie (McKinney) Howell. Mr. Howell passed away December 6, 
2006, in Santa Barbara.

Bill served in the United States Air Force in WW II. He moved to 
Lompoc over 60 years ago. He was employed over 47 years with John's 
Manville Corp now Celite Inc. Bill was a member of the Quarter 
Century Club of Lompoc and past President of the John's Manville 
riding club. He loved horses, camping, fishing, and his 
grandchildren.

Mr. Howell is survived by his wife of 41 years, Margarett Howell of 
Lompoc; two daughters and their husbands, Dana Sue and Pat McDonough, 
and Gina Lynnett and Jeff Schneider all of Lompoc; a sister, Georgia 
Renwick of Washington State; one brother, Otis Howell of Lompoc; 
eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces 
and nephews.

The inurnment will be held at Lompoc District Cemetery following the 
memorial service.

Arrangements are in the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary,Lompoc.
