He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Jaye. He is survived by his wife, Connie, of the home; his loving son, Heath Jaye, of Oklahoma City; his cherished granddaughter, Bradlee Jaye, of Austin, Texas; his father, Dewey Jaye and his wife Wanda, of Oklahoma City; his sisters, Bobbie McGee and her husband, of Moore; Sue Foreman and her husband, of Oklahoma City; Jackie McClain and her husband, of Oklahoma City; Debbie Brown and her husband, of Yukon and a brother, Larry Jaye, of Mars Hills, North Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. D.J. had an infectious joy for life; he was loved by one and all and he knew no strangers. His life has touched many over the years and those lives are richer for it. He will be greatly missed as a Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and friend. As a family we are indebted to the wonderful care he received from the Eighth Floor ITCU at Baptist Integris Medical Center. Services are Monday, August 12, 2002, 2:00 PM Faith Tabernacle, OKC.
