All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Jacoby, Winnie Laura Winnie Laura Jacoby, 86, of Oklahoma City passed away peacefully August 2, 2002. Born in Vernon, TX, November 2, 1915, she was the youngest of five children to James Dixon Dalton and Flora Mae Ballew Dalton. She was active in PTA at Putnam City Schools the many years her children, were in attendance. She and her husband, Ray, were charter members of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum and the Oklahoma Air Space Museum. She was past-president of Soon Airs, local chapter of Questers, volunteer at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, even entertaining the Fleming Scholars in her home. She also ran Jacoby's Antiques for many years. Up until her illness Winnie was involved in her Mah-Jongg and Bridge groups. Her husband of 57 years, sons Mike & wife Jill Jacoby, Randy & wife Barbara Jacoby and daughter Nancy & husband Jack Burch, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson survives Winnie. Winnie was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Memorial services will be held Sunday, August 11th at 2:00 P.M. at the Hahn-Cook Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to OSU Foundation, OSU-OKC Precision Driving Training Center, 900 N. Portland Avenue, OKC, 73107 or Heartland Hospice or the charity of your choice.
