All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Duncan Banner 21 Apr 2002 Billy Lee Jackson RATLIFF CITY — Billy Lee Jackson, 59, of Ratliff City died Thursday, April 18, 2002, in Oklahoma City. Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Countyline First Baptist Church with the Rev. Monk Firestone and the Rev. Dub Bohannon officiating. Burial will be in the Ratliff City Cemetery under the direction of Alexander- Roberts Funeral Home in Ratliff City. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Mr. Jackson was born Oct. 15, 1942, in Oklahoma City to Edward Ralston and Edna Mae Watkins Jackson. He married Shirley Ann Davis on Aug. 9, 1963, in Wichita Falls. Although he was born in Oklahoma City, he had lived in the Ratliff City area since he was a small child. He graduated from Fox High School in 1960. He worked in the oil fields until his retirement a few years ago. He was a member of the Ratliff City Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home; three children, Shelia Blanchard of Sheldon, Mo., William “Eddie” Jackson of Duncan and Ronald Wesley Jackson of Little Elm, Texas; his mother, Edna Mae Jackson of Ratliff City; four granddaughters, Anita Jones of Sheldon, and Destiny, Tiffany and Ceira Jackson, all of Duncan; a grandson, Cris Jones of Sheldon; a great-grandson, Brandon Jones of Sheldon; a brother, Cameron Jackson of Ratliff City; and a sister, Barbara Hollingsworth of Stratford. He is preceded in death by his father in February 1976; and a brother, Dale, in 1953.
