All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Jackson, Ima Gene Ima Gene Jackson was born to Tom McCallister and Lillian Mae (Brown) McCallister in Ozark, Franklin Co., Arkansas on July 15, 1920. She died August 22, 2002 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was a graduate of Harrah High School class of 1938 and was very active in academic and sports. She was a lifelong member of Church of Christ and attended Cherokee Hills and Central congregations most of the last 35 years. She traveled in South America and helped establish many new Church of Christ congregations with Dr. Evert Picartz in the 1980's. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Barney Thomas Holden, two brothers; Delmar McCallister and Glen McCallister, two sisters; Ina Lorene Anderson and Clarice Marie Caffrey. Survivors are her son Arch Claude Holden Jr. and wife Debra of Broken Arrow, OK, grandson David Louis Holden, and granddaughter Heather Gene Holden, and one sister Lura Miller and husband Vick Miller of Oklahoma City and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, Aug. 27th in the Rosewood Chapel of Branstetter-Merritt Funeral Home.
