CHILDRESS - Curtis Johnson, 67, died Sunday, March 17, 2002, in
Amarillo.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe
Horn and the Rev. Bobby Wade of New Hope Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnson was born April 2, 1934, in Waxahachie. He was known for his
hard work and love of his family.

Survivors include four sons, Barry Johnson and Ivan Johnson, both of DeSoto,
Darrell Johnson of Arlington and Kevin Johnson of Mesquite; two daughters,
Donna Manning and Darnise Moore, both of Mesquite; three sisters, Ozie
Brown of Flint, Mich., Louise Ford of Oklahoma City and Ophelia Holmes of
Wichita, Kan.; a brother, E.J. Johnson of Oklahoma City; and 14
grandchildren.
