Janssen, Catherine Priestley

Catherine Priestley, 84, passed away Aug. 1, 2002 at St. Anthony Hospital 
in OKC. Born in Fort Lee, NJ April 16, 1918, to Louis & Josephine (Kaelin) 
Priestley. She attended St. Vincent School of Nursing in New York. She 
worked as a hostess for TWA, from 1940 to 1942, then as a nurse for the 
FBI, from 1943 until 1944. On march 18, 1944 she married Arthur J. Janssen 
in Rockaway Park, NY, they moved to OKC in 1968. She was involved in her 
church, Epiphany of The Lord, where she was a member & volunteer. 
Survivors include her husband, of 58 years, Arthur; & her children Arthur 
J. Janssen & wife, Colleen; Margaret Windmueller & husband, Paul; Maria 
Mickley & husband, James; Thomas P. Janssen, M.D. & wife, Cynthia Witten 
Janssen; Judith Myers & husband, Michael; eleven grandchildren; Hayden, 
Cathy, Chris & Pat Janssen; Ron & Amy Windmueller; Jessica & Jason 
Mickley; Emily, David & Elliot Janssen. She will be remembered as a loving 
wife, mother & grandmother, her family & friends will miss her deeply. 
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002 at 
the Church of The Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, 7336 West Britton 
Road, OKC, with interment to follow in the Resurrection Cemetery.
