All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Jones Cemetery--Jones OK Jones, Martha Mae (Lovell) Martha Mae (Lovell), died December 6, 2002. She was born Feb. 4, 1924 in Choctaw, OK to Joe and Juanita (Taylor) Lovell. She graduated from State Center High School. She married William A. 'Bill' Jones of Jones, OK on Jan. 24, 1943. In addition to raising her four children, she worked at Western Electric, owned and operated the Jones Dry Goods store with Bill, and later retired from Children's Hospital. After moving to the Lake Eufaula area, she became very active in the Methodist Church there, singing in the choir and participating in many United Methodist Women's activities. She loved to 'be on the go' and went to various camps and meetings with the UMW and Republican Women's Organization. We all looked forward to her Christmas candy and 'homemade noodles.' Martha is survived by her husband, Bill; one brother, Franklin Lovell; and four children: Barbara Dixon of Eufaula, OK; James Jones and his wife Janice of Wagoner, OK; Mary Bowman and her husband Leonard of Oklahoma City, OK; and, David Jones and his wife Melinda of Jay, OK. Her grandchildren are: Jill Franke, Allen Price, Eric McMillan, Mark Jones, Jenny Dixon, Duane, Amanda, and Christianne Snearly, and Curt and Cynthia Bowman. Her great grandchildren include: Joshua, Hannah and Rebecca Franke, Aaron Bowman, and Julie Snearly. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles Lovell. A memorial service will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at the First UnitedMethodist Church of Eufaula. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Northeast Chapel with burial at Jones Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice in her honor.
