Kinney, Alyce Clifton

Alyce Clifton Kinney, 84, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died Sunday,
December 8, 2002 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Memorial Services will be
held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 12, 2002 at Central Presbyterian
Church in Oklahoma City, OK with Reverend Janet Ruark officiating.
Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman,
Oklahoma. Mrs. Kinney was born June 17, 1918 in Luling, Texas, to Harvey
Wade and Alyce Belle Clifton Whittington. She grew up in Ardmore, Oklahoma
and graduated from high school there. She married Stanley Michael Kinney
in 1940, he preceded her in death in 1992. They moved to Norman in 1950
from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church
in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Kinney was active in Meals on Wheels and also
volunteered at the church. Mrs. Kinney was preceded in death by her
parents, husband and one sister, Marjorie Gatewood. Survivors include one
daughter, Barbara Aleman and husband, Edward of Oklahoma City, OK; one
sister, Francess Hohl of Benton, AR; and one grandchild, Kristin Aleman of
Oklahoma City, OK. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund
at Central Presbyterian Church, 5101 N. May, OKC, OK 73112.
