All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Kemp, Ann Beatrice Porter Ann Beatrice Porter Kemp passed away August 22 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Born May 12, 1921 in Lucus, Arkansas, she moved to Oklahoma in 1925. She was a 1939 graduate of Dale Oklahoma High School. She later graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Science. Her work career included employment as a Medical Technologist with University Hospital and leading OKC medical practices. Practices included Harvey/ Coleman/Sepkowitz, Harvey & Harvey and Harvey & Avey. She married Clarence W. Kemp Jr in 1948 and resided in the Oklahoma City area until 1998 when she moved to Northern Virginia. She is a long standing member of Oklahoma City Trinity Baptist Church. Ann was a lover of nature, God's flowers, birds, Oklahoma sunsets, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware holidays and her family. She is survived by her daughter, Linda of Springfield, Virginia, her son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Diana of Stafford, Virginia, and 5 grandchildren, Brandy, Billy, Bobby, Brooke and Brad. Also 5 great grandchildren, Chase, Tanner, Nathan, Brannon and Austin. Two sisters, Estel Little, Mcloud, OK and Bobbie Allen, San Jose, CA. Preceded in death by father and mother Stephen and Rosa Porter. Services 10 a.m. Tuesday Smith & Kernke Chapel, NW 23rd St., with interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
