King and Audrey Hay King. He attended schools in Boulder, Colorado; Lombard, Illinois and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1967 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration Management from Central State University. He is survived by a daughter, Kerry Lynn Button and her husband William Button; a son Kyle James King and granddaughter Callie Grace King; mother and father James and Audrey King; sister Adele King White; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; numerous cousins and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter-in law Jennifer DeWald King and his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Jim King and Mr. & Mrs. C.W. Hay. Steve served in the U.S. Marines including a combat tour in Vietnam. He retired as a Major in the 12th Special Forces USAR. He was employed at Lewis RV Center, as a sales associate. Steve was very active in his church and church activities. Services will be 1:00 Thursday, January 23 at The Cathedral of Praise Main Auditorium. Burial immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery.
