Lee 1911 - 2005 Mae C. Lee, 93, a retired secretary, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at her residence. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Mineral Wells. Burial: 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Friday in Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel, Mineral Wells. Memorials: First Presbyterian Church, 300 N.W. Fourth Ave., Mineral Wells, Texas 76067. Mrs. Lee was born Sept. 8, 1911, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the daughter of Charles Eldon and Myrtle Mae Gaddis Crozier. She had lived in Perrin since 1983 and previously in Benbrook. She worked as a secretary at the Greyhound Bus Co.'s main offices in Fort Worth, then at North Texas Steel until 1975, when she retired. Mae was just one month short of her 94th birthday; however, she was able to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary May 15, 2005, for which we are all thankful For the past five years Mae fought hard against several serious medical problems, but Wednesday morning her little heart and body could fight no more and she slipped away in a peaceful sleep. Mae was a lifelong Presbyterian and at various times was a faithful member and strong supporter of Hemphill, Ridglea and Mineral Wells First Presbyterian Churches. The family wishes to thank Campbell Home Health for its loving care, especially nurses Stacey Driver, Donna Simpson and Phyllis Chriestenson, and hospice care nurse Ruth Davis.
