Joseph Trough Lopshire, 74, Oklahoma City

Joseph Trough Lopshire, 74, son of Thomas and Orpha (Bowser) Lopshire, was 
born December 22, 1928, at Taloga, Oklahoma, and passed away Dec. 7, 2003, 
at his home on Oklahoma City.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Leon 
Lopshire, Albert Dotson, and Jerry Dotson; one sister, Merlene Mackee, and 
one grandchild, Hannah Carter.

Joseph is survived by one son, Monte Lopshire and his wife, Lisa, of 
Waynoka; four brothers, Scotty Lopshire and his wife, Lucille, of 
California, Jack Lopshire of Alaska, Lynn Lopshire and his wife, Nanako, 
of California, and Kenneth Dotson.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, Sarah Lopshire and Aaron Carter, 
both of Oklahoma City, and Kathina, Leslie, and Kristen Golbek, all of 
Waynoka; three great grandchildren, Ian and Klohe Roper of Oklahoma City, 
and Sydney Wynn of Oklahoma City; tons of nieces and nephews, including 
Tom, Andy, and Lisa Lopshire; other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2003, at the 
Waynoka Church of God with John Brint officating. Arrangements are under 
the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.
