He passed away Thursday, April 17, 2003, at 8:30 p.m., after a long brave struggle with Asbestosis, a lung disease. Don was a WWII Coastguard Veteran, a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving wife, Janice (Mallory) Lupton; daughter, Janet (West) McGinness; sons, Gary D., Paul E., Ronald L., Philip A., Carl D. and Rex F. Lupton; 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Janice Allee and Deloris McConnell; and 5 brothers, Allen, Bob, Sam, Dan, and Warren Lupton. Don was a successful paint tradesman, contractor, salesman, chemist, and factory owner. He was an artist, a seaman, a builder and published author. He was born in Shawnee, March 13, 1926, to the parents of Max and Mabel Lupton.
