He was an inspiration to all with his positive attitude, sense of humor and determination to keep fighting through the many treatments, triumphs and setbacks over the last seven years. Scott was born April 25, 1960 and graduated from Classen High School in 1978. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UCO. Employed at Kerr McGee since 1988, his work as a network analyst allowed him to pursue his love of computers. He felt blessed to have so many caring and compassionate co-workers. He and his family were very thankful for the support they gave him throughout his illness. Scott loved helping others and gladly shared his knowledge by assisting family and friends with computer problems and movie & music trivia. Scott married Susan Roewe on July 17, 1982 and his greatest joys were her and their three children, Scotty, Katie, and Brian. He was extremely proud of each of them, and they were the reason he fought so hard for so long. The dogs, Boomer and Carlie, will also miss their Pee-Paw. Scott was preceded in death by his father, William P. Lively, Jr.; his stepfather, Charles E. Rogers, and Susan's brother, Paul Roewe. Scott is survived by his wife and children, his mother Joan Rogers, his sister Sue and her husband Kent Shiplet, his brother Ben and his wife Yvonne. Scott loved Susan's family like his own and is survived by her parents, Henry & Shirley Roewe, her brothers and sisters and their spouses: Monica & Matt Wenthold, David & Melani Roewe, Teresa Roewe, Nancy & Steve Klabo, and Mike & Barbara Roewe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Scott's death creates a void in the lives of many, but he leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.
