All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +========================================================================+ LeFlore, Louis Edward Louis Edward LeFlore died on November 19, 2003. He was born on January 16, 1926 in Oklahoma City to Arline Johnson LeFlore and Leroy Campbell LeFlore. He grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Central High. Louis attended the University of Texas in the Naval ROTC program where he was commissioned as ensign in the United States Navy. After the war ended, he attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated as a mechanical engineer. Louis joined Humble Oil & Refining Co., later known as Exxon, in New Orleans where he participated in the early off shore oil exploration and drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. Louis continued his career with Exxon and was transferred to Houston in 1968 where he became coordinator of Gas Operations and Analysis in the Natural Gas Department. He moved to Oklahoma City four years ago to be with his family. Louis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol Jean Wilson LeFlore and his children Louis & wife Debbie, Lawrence & wife Lindy and Leroy & wife Mary. He leaves 2 grandsons Louie & Christian and 6 granddaughters Lisa, Mary Alice, Laurel, Leah, Anna & Carol Ann. He is also survived by his sister Mary L. Clements & husband Richard H. Clements and their 3 sons Richard, Robert & Edward Clements. His family is grateful for the home care from Elizabeth Moore & her daughter Kameelah Moore. We are also grateful to the clergy of All Souls Episcopal Church who visited him on a regular basis. Services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2003 at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Chapel at All Souls Episcopal Church.
