She attended Carey & Jackson Schools. Mary & Hubert Lewis were wed on May 7, 1948. She had a successful career as an optician and later dealt in antiques. Mary was predeceased by: her parents; her husband, Hubert; and her sister, Margaret. She leaves to cherish the happy memories: her daughter, Elizabeth Hanke; and grandchildren: Nathan, Jimmy & Courtney; her brother, Leon Lamb; her sisters: Betty Myatt, Jackie Sapp & Linda Suggs; her companion and dear friend, Nick Nichols.
