Born February 4, 1931, the second child of Edgar and Ruby Lynch, left this life on August 28, 2005. The 1950 Capitol Hill High School graduate enjoyed the company of his classmates, The 49er Bunch, during breakfast every Saturday morning at Cattlemen's Steak House. After retiring as an agent from Farmers Insurance Company, he spent many hours volunteering at Integris Southwest Medical Center. He loved traveling, from the ski slopes of Colorado to the peaceful confines of his sun deck overlooking Lake Texoma. His last adventure took him to the sandy beaches of Cancun for the wedding of his youngest granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 54 years, LaWanda, and older sister, Mary Nadine Burnett. He is survived by his son Gary and his wife Paula, one brother, Eddie Lynch and his wife Scottie, and brother-in-law Terry Roberson and his wife Sharan. He leaves behind grandchildren Nickie Wiley and fiance Rob Vandiver, Greg Lynch and fiancee Sarah Sutter, and Marissa Callendar and her husband Steven, and their mother Yvette Lynch; great grandchild Mackenzie Wiley and her father James; step-grandchildren Jason Ford and his wife Margie, and Nicole Ford; step-great grandchildren Taylor and Brittany Ford. He is also survived by countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. You are in our prayers and dreams, PaPa, God Bless You. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Integris Southwest Medical Center Volunteer Group. Graveside service will be held Thursday, September 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, OK.
