(Larry), Sr., 81, died December 15, 2002 of congestive heart failure. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy, of the home; two sons, Larry Jr. and his wife Martha, Charles and his wife Sally; and five grandchildren. Larry was born May 10, 1921, in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Oklahoma City at the age of 15. He graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City, and attended Oklahoma University. Larry served in the U.S. Army for three years, receiving an honorable discharge. He was employed by O.G.& E. for 41 years in the Engineering Department, where he was known as 'Wheaties'. He received a Graduate Certificate from the International Correspondence School in Engineering. Larry was a 60 year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City and served faithfully as a Deacon and Choir Member. He was a man of integrity, kindness, giving and great perserverance. He enjoyed Ham Radio under call sign WB5ZKV. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of OKC or the American Heart Association. Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday at Guardian West Funeral Home. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 18th at First Presbyterian Church, 1001 N.W. 25th, Oklahoma City.
