All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Larson, Betty Jane Rothlisberger Betty Jane Rothlisberger Larson was born on September 19, 1930 in Madison, Wisconsin, and died July 22, 2002 at her home in Edmond, Okla. Betty married Jim Larson in March 1950. In 1960 the Larsons and their three young children moved to Edmond, Oklahoma. After her youngest child started school Betty returned to college to finish her education receiving her Masters degree in Education. Betty was a classroom teacher and consultant for the Oklahoma City Public Schools. After retirement she volunteered for the Troy & Dollie Smith Cancer Center at INTEGRIS Baptist and the Edmond Historical Society. For over 30 years Betty was an active member of the Edmond Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Larson, Okla. City, and Betsy Larson, Edmond. Her son, Jim Larson and wife, Jamie, New Port Richie, FL. Her grandsons, Matt Manoles and wife, Jamie, of Okla. City, Adam Manoles, Edmond, and Michael Larson, New Port Richie, FL. Step-grandson, Eric Bishard. The family wishes to thank the many friends and healthcare professionals who gave assistance during the year of Betty's illness. Private services will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, gifts in celebration of Betty's life may be made to Hospice of Oklahoma County, 3300 NW Expwy., Dept. 110.7470, Okla. City, OK 73112.
