All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawrence, William Warren William Warren Lawrence, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away August 18, 2002. He was born to Kathleen Rose Davis and Stephen Lawrence on June 27, 1927 at New Haven, CT. After spending his first six years in New Haven, he then moved to New Jersey. He attended Clifton High School until he joined the U. S. Marines to serve in World War II in 1945. He trained at Parris Island, SC before serving in Tientsen, China in the First Division. He graduated from Upsala College in East Orange, NJ in 1952. William was a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch, E.F. Hutton and Charles Payne Co. He served as a budget analyst for the State of Oklahoma and retired from the position of comptroller for the State Health Department. He is predeceased by his parents and brother, Walter Lawrence. His survivors are his wife, Betty; daughter, Linda Pulliam and husband, Luther of Norman, OK; son William D. Lawrence, M.D and his wife Nola of Ft.Worth, TX; daughter, Lisa Clark and her husband Brian of Yukon, OK and son Stephen Lawrence and his wife Rae Anne of Edmond, OK, as well as brother, Stephen Lawrence and his wife Violet of Clearwater, FL. He leaves behind six grandchildren: Jennifer and Anna Lawrence, Taylor, Trevor and Austin Clark and Connor Lawrence. Memorial service will be held at Church of the Servant, Chapel of the Cross, 14343 N. MacArthur Blvd. at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2002. CREMATION SOCIETY 1145 W.
