'Rob', 46, lifelong resident of OKC, passed away Monday, December 16, 2002 in OKC. Rob was born February 16, 1956 at OKC to Robert H. Sr and Joyce (Steddum) Macdonald. Rob's life-time career was in the aviation industry. He was a master aircraft propeller technician and was also a licensed A&P mechanic. Rob was a sweet nurturing music man and was known as the 'amazing man' by his family, friends, and his many caregivers. His spirit, courage, and ability to bring himself back from the brink of death on many occasions earned him this title. He was a great inspiration to his friends at N.W. Serenity Club. They provided loving support, many big hugs and their prayers. His passions were his children and his music. He was a poet, song writer, guitarist and had performed in his own band as a young man. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Macdonald, Sr; brother Mark Macdonald, and beloved aunt Lila Austin. Survivors include his wife Renea; two daughters, Lacey and Meghan; three step-children, Melissa, Ryan, and Kandice; mother, Joyce Macdonald; brother David Macdonald; sister Angela Ferguson; six nieces and nephews and special friends Erin Robinett and Brit Cherry; Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 19, 2002 at Baggerley-South Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Oklahoma County. Baggerley South 5708 S.
