She went to be with our Lord February 2, 2003, at the age of 88. She married Floyd Benson "Benny" Mason, May 13, 1933. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1936. Virginia retired as a secretary with the Corporation Commission in 1981. She was active in church, bridge clubs and a season ticket holder to the Lyric Theatre. She was always there for her family, cooking dinner for birthdays, holidays, or just to share her beautiful smile and to listen. She devoted her life to her family. Her wisdom will be sorely missed by all. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Melton and husband, Willis F. Melton; grandsons, David M. Melton and wife, Treasa, Dennis J. Melton and wife, Janet; great grandchildren, Kristie Marie Salas and husband, Jerry, Brian, Kelsie, Samantha and Ben Melton, Nikki, Sophia, and Nick Nikolaidis. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 6, 2003, at the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
