Jewel Groom McCracken

EARTH - Jewel Groom McCracken, 90, of Sudan, died Tuesday, May 4, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Sudan Cemetery with James 
Withrow of Sudan officiating. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home of Earth.

Mrs. McCracken was born in Buckner Parker and graduated from Sudan High 
School. She was a licensed vocational nurse. In 1996, she moved to Sudan 
from Boron, Calif.

Her first marriage was to Al Hillsman in 1938 at California. He died in 
1955. She then married Harry McCracken in 1957 at National City, Okla.

Survivors include two nieces, Lynette Burns and Wanda Thompson, both 
of Sudan; and four nephews, Theron Hill and Oville Hill both of Sudan, 

Dale Hill of Littlefield and Bill Groom of Puyallup, Wash.

The family suggests memorials be to Sudan EMS, P.O. Box 491, Sudan, TX 79371.
