All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Frankie Gene McGregor QUANAH - Frankie Gene McGregor, 52, of Oklahoma City, a former longtime Quanah resident, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Price-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, with Morris Green officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park. Mr. McGregor was born in Quanah. He graduated from Douglas High School in 1965, entered the Infantry Paratroopers in 1967 and served in Vietnam with the 173rd Airborne. He received a Purple Heart after his discharge in 1970. He was employed by Fred Jones Ford Lincoln Mercury Dealership in Oklahoma City. He was a Church of Christ member. He was preceded in death by two wives; Essie Loretta Brown McGregor and Kaye Jones McGregor. Survivors include three daughters, Tonya Renee Brown of Fort Worth and Latrice Miller and Rhonda Jones, both of Oklahoma City; his mother, Loretta McGregor of Quanah; four sisters, Loretta Jones, Judy Burns, Loraine Claudrick and Cordelia Johnson, all of Irving; two brothers, Walter McGregor of Irving and Koch McGregor of San Antonio; three sons, Michael Miller of Washington, D.C., Cornell McGregor of Fort Worth and DeWann Jones of Oklahoma City; special friends, Edith Little John and Carol Miller; and 10 grandchildren.
