Mr. Miller formerly lived in Del City, Oklahoma, for 51 years before moving to Carrollton in September 2001. He was born in Bonham, Texas, on September 10, 1920. Mr. Miller was a member of Sunny Lane United Methodist Church in Del City for 49 years, where he was an usher for 25 years. He was a member of the Del City Masonic Lodge #536 and was a 32nd degree Mason, Guthrie Consistency. He served in the Army in World War II with the 36th Infantry Division from Texas. He was in the European Theater of War, South France, Italy, and Africa. He was a trucker for 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Geneva Miller; one daughter, Barbara Johnson and husband Michael Johnson; three grandchildren, Curt Caldwell and wife Claire Caldwell, Cheri Vaughn and husband Michael Vaughn, and David Caldwell; and four great grandchildren. His parents; two brothers, Gus Miller and Jim Miller; and one sister, Nova Holt, preceded him in death. Memorials may be made to Sunny Lane United Methodist Church at 2020 Sunny Lane, Del City, Oklahoma 73115. Services for Mr. Miller are set for Wednesday, January 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Sunny Lane United Methodist Church with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
