A. Main was born in Oneida county, New York. She passed away at her daughter's home in Oklahoma City, Sunday morning, March 7, 1926 at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 20 days. She was the mother of eight children, 2 of which preceded her in death and six of whom are living. The body was brought to Richland for burial in the Frisco Cemetery. Mrs. Main had lived in this neighborhood for many years and leaves a host of friends to mourn her death besides the relatives. A large crowd was present at the funeral which was conducted by Rev. A. R. Williams. "The stars shall shine for a thousand years, A thousand years and a day, But God and I will live and live, When the stars are passed away."
