He taught us honesty, kindness, love and hard work through his own actions. He was a master craftsman of mirrors and furniture. As children we enjoyed listening to his tenor classical voice. Adversity as an orphan, a soldier and a refugee only made him stronger. He served in the Soviet Army in three wars, including World War II, and awarded several wartime medals, but his most cherished was the rare civic medal awarded for heroic work in peacetime. He and our families escaped Baku during massacres in 1989 and immigrated to America in 1991. We thank the citizens of the US that our dad could experience freedom and security not provided by his own government. We thank Integrated Specialty Hospital of Midwest City for their excellent service. He is survived by his children, Villen and wife Nona, Karen and wife Diana and Tatyana and husband Valery Ryazanov, grandchildren William and wife Christina, German, Tatevick, Natalie and Dennis. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosa. Services 11:00 am Saturday, at the Bill Eisenhour SE Chapel.
