Frankie was born on October 3, 1965. He died on May 15, 2005. Services are under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star - 19 May 2005 FRANKIE ANDREW MANDRELL Funeral service for Frankie Andrew Mandrell, age 39, of Chickasha will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2005, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Kim Hayes will officiate. Frankie was born the son of Jeff Mandrell and Oma Reagan Mandrell on October 3, 1965, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He died on May 15, 2005, at his home in Chickasha. Frankie grew up in Chickasha, where he lived most of his life. He started working at a young age as a paper boy and later began plumbing. Frankie moved to California for several years. While in California, he worked as a diesel truck mechanic. Frankie moved back to Chickasha, where he most recently worked for Washita Valley Community Action. He attended the Bible Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry and Johnny Mandell. Survivors include: close companion: Sonya Mandell of the home; two daughters: Amanda Mandrell and Shelby Mandrell of Oxnard, California; one sister: Sue Scott of Dibble; three brothers: Stanley Mandrell, Terry Mandrell and Elvie Mandrell of Chickasha; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
