Frances S., 85, passed away in Oklahoma City, OK on Nov. 30, 2002. She was born to James Blackburn Strain & Margaret Frances (Wilson) Strain on April 8, 1917 in Miles, TX. Frances married Jesse Marion Moore on June 18, 1939. She attended Tyler Commercial College and did clerical work in the insurance business. Frances worshiped at Stonegate Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Edmond. She is preceded in death by her husband and ten siblings. Survivors include her daughter, Kay Cook & husband, Wiley, OKC; her son, James Moore & wife, Kay, Randolph, NJ; 3 grandchildren: Suzanne Salmon, Clifton Moore & Daniel Cook; and a sister, Nannie Lou Grimes, Mineola, TX. She lived a life of unselfish service to family, church and youth of the community with a passion for fairness and detail. Memorials may be made to Stonegate Cumberland Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 3973, Edmond, OK 73003-3973. Viewing will be at Mercer-Adams on Tuesday from 8am-9pm & Wednesday from 8am-noon. Services will be at 2:00 PM, Wed., Dec. 4, 2002 in Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
