USAF Ret. was born October 11, 1931 in Clifton, Kansas and died February 28, 2003, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Glen joined the Air Force in 1949, serving in the field of communications maintenance and rising to the rank of CMsgt. before retiring from Tinker AFB in 1972. He served in Vietnam in 1967-1968, surviving the Saigon Tet Offensive, and earning a Bronze Star during his tour of duty. He was married to Dolores Ann Headley, currently of Nicoma Park, OK from 1951-1979. In 1981, he married Mary Ann Clark Hunter. After retiring from the Air Force, Glen was a student and instructor at Sooner Mechanical Trade School and operated a Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning business in Midwest City until his full retirement in 2000. Glen was preceded in death by his mother, Estella Swengel Morris, father Glenn Normandin Morris, and step-mother Mildred Anderson Morris. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Morris, of the home in Midwest City, OK, his daughters Dorinda Morris of Fairview, OK, and Glenda Ann Lee of Midwest City, OK, stepbrothers Donald Morris of El Dorado, CA, Nolan Morris of Arlington, TX, and David Morris of Boerne, TX and their wives, and grandchildren Laura Eason, Ross Hallren, and Sean Jarvis. A talented mechanic, Glen was neat, organized, practical, and generous with his time. He had a knack for noticing things that needed done and quietly making life more comfortable for his family and friends. He was a modest man, content with his life, and he died peacefully, leaving many grateful friends. The family would like to meet and great friends Monday from 7 - 8:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at 1:00 P.M. at Paylor Funeral Home.
