H. Marshall Funeral Home Operator, Dies J.H.Marshall, former Oklahoma City minister and a funeral director here for 43 years, died Monday afternoon at his home, 905 NW 12. He had been in failing health since breaking his hip last May. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Rackley funeral home, Purcell, with burial in Purcell. Born in West Vaden, Ind., Marshall came to Purcell in 1900. In 1903, he moved to Oklahoma City and was acting pastor of the First Christian church for a year. Marshall established a funeral home in 1905 on N Broadway. His last location was the Marshall funeral home, 420 NW 10, from which he retired in 1948. He was a charter member of the Kiwanis club, and belonged to the First Christian church and the Masonic lodge 36. He was also an Odd Fellow.
