Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church in Jayton with the Rev. Charles Wyatt and the Rev. David Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock by Holden-McCauley Funeral Directors. Mr. Miller was born in Wheatland, Okla. During World War II, he served in the Army with the E 23rd Calvary Reconnaissance Squadron. His military honors included the Purple Heart, Bronze Arrowhead, European African Middle Eastern Ribbon and the Good Conduct medal. He was a Baptist. He married Willie Fern Rich Brewer in 1979 at Shamrock. Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Stanley Miller of Brownfield and Boyd Miller of Carthage; and two sisters, Muriel Evans of Lubbock and Helen Miller Sloss of Wheeler.
