Mount Sr., Kenneth Lawrence "Larry"

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in the courtyard 
at Mission Family Mortuary, 531 California Ave. for Larry who passed 
away June 3rd after an extended illness. Family and Friends 
visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. and a full Irish 
wake will start at 6 p.m. Msgr. Stephen Frost of Christ the King 
Catholic Church will officiate and a private inurnment will follow at 
a later date. Larry was born in Oklahoma City, OK and had lived in 
Bakersfield for over25 years. He was a Mud Engineer and a Reserve 
Police officer for the Bakersfield Police Department. He was preceded 
in death by his parents, Kenneth and Cora Mount and he is survived by 
his sister, Karen; his daughter, Nancy and son-in-law, Chris; his 
son, Kenneth and daughter-in-law, Malissa and 5 wonderful 
granddaughters. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be 
made to the Jameson Center for kids. For more information contact Ray
