All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Resurrection Memorial Cemetery--OKC OK Nobles, James Donald "Jim" James Donald "Jim" Nobles passed away suddenly in his home February 23, 2003 after a year long struggle with failing health. Jim was born March 31, 1926 in Star City, Arkansas to Pearl and A.E. Nobles. He graduated from the University of Arkansas after serving his country in the Army Air Force during World War II. He married Vivian Lois Spurlock on November 22, 1945. She was the love of his life, and they raised three children together, Martha, Jim and Tim. Jim was a 32nd degree Mason. He worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 38 years and retired in 1988. Jim was a Southern Baptist all his life and currently was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bethany. Jim is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Glenn, Muriel and Charles Ray Nobles. Jim is survived by: his loving wife, Lois; his 3 children, daughter Martha Armstrong and husband Frank; sons Jim Nobles Jr. and his wife Debbie; Tim Nobles and his wife Lucinda. Jim was proud of his five grandchildren whom he loved deeply: Kent, Matthew and Mark Armstrong; and Jennifer and Linda Nobles. Also, a sister Dorothy Jean Bailey and sisters-in law Ann Nobles and Janet Nobles. Jim will be remembered by all of us for his strength, loyalty and love. His family was his greatest joy. Jim will be missed by all who knew him. Family will receive visitors from 5-7pm Tues. at MercerAdams. Services will be held at 10:30am, Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at First Baptist Bethany, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
