All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Memorial Park Cemetery--OKC OK Nusbaum, Jack Ray Jack Ray Nusbaum, 81, of Green River, WY, died February 18, 2003, at the Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River, after a lengthy illness. He was born June 11, 1921, in Newton, Kansas, the son of George Ray and Minnie Alma Sexton Nusbaum. He attended schools in Newton, KS and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City with the Class of 1939. He attended Oklahoma Agriculture & Mechanical College (OSU) graduated in 1948 with a degree in Architecture. Jack married Mary Marie Jones, on March 20, 1944, in College Station, Texas. She preceded him in death January 1970. He then married Betty Ann Culp, on June 12, 1970, in Dallas, Texas. She also preceded him in death on December 25, 1994. Jack designed the initial buildings of the Oklahoma Christian University Campus in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He also designed many church buildings, banks and libraries throughout the United States. He served in the US Army during World War II and was a member of the Green River Church of Christ. His interests were his God and being an architect. Survivors include three sons, Paul Nusbaum and wife, Dwan of Claremore, OK, Don Nusbaum and wife, Sharon of Oklahoma City, OK and David Culp and wife, Merry of Austin, TX; two daughters, Judy Henss and husband, Rudy of Rock Springs, WY and Kim DuChamp of Edmond, OK; two brothers, Roy Nusbaum and wife, Edna of Yukon, OK and Joe Nusbaum and wife, Mary of Oklahoma City, OK; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife, Mary, and 2nd wife, Betty. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2003, at Edmond Church of Christ, 801 S. Bryant Ave., Edmond, Oklahoma. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home. Interment will take place in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2003, at the Green River Church of Christ, 605 Clark St., Green River, with Billy Morris officiating.
